Travelogue-Seoul Day 4 Bukchon

Bukchon is an area of homes on a hill where many are the traditional Hanok style building. Small alleys wind their way through the residences

As it had snowed all last night, many remnants of it remained visible on alot of the roofs on another cold brisk morning

Peering briefly through an open door at the courtyard beyond and a set of jars within. Many hanoks had these open courtyards in the center of the living area

Not far from downtown Seoul, the modern highrises tower above the modest one level homes. There are guest houses in this area that let you experience what it was like to sleep inone of these

Insadong is not far from Bukchon. I walked around but didnt take any pictures except for my lunch, Galbi tang(short rib soup)
