Travelogue Japan-Videoes Part 3

We continue today with a few more videoes.  We will start with Godzilla in Shinjuku.  The head and hand peers over the Toho Cinemas location in Kabukicho.  On an hourly basis, Godzilla will roar and spit atomic flames with his theme music in the background.  This is the more classic design compared to the current statue at Tokyo Midtown which embodies the look from the 2016 Shin Godzilla live action movie


The Gundam statue at Odaiba's Diver City complex was changed out last year from the original RX-78 to Unicorn Gundam.  With it came additional animation and light show.  The first video gives a snapshot of what it looks like today, in the rain

There is a regular schedule of transformations that occur throughout the day.  The initial times are at 2 hr intervals.  Once it starts to get dark, it shrinks to 30 minutes.  The show gets longer with a light show and projections against the outer wall of the mall.  Here is one of the last daylight transformations.  If you notice, the winds kick up as if on cue when the transformation begins
