Travelogue Japan-Day 5 Go East

The sun comes up early in Japan.  On sunny days, it could be fully bright by 4:45 am.  I meant to walk the banks of the nearby river the previous day but got caught up in watching TV

Today I made sure before I left.  The clear waters fall many times on their way down river.  Some videoes of the moving river will follow in the next few days

Just up the banks along the pathway, some blue flowers

A whimsical sign owing back to its history as possibly a rest stop

Buffet breakfast was included with the room.  The majority of us did like what was on offer especially the young ones who didnt like what was on offer the previous night

We made a stop in Tokyo to unburden ourselves as several things were purchased during this portion of the trip.  With the JR Pass, this made it possible without incurring any additional fees.  Then we backtracked to the Shin Yokohama Raumen museum.  We split up and I went for a samller bowl of miso ramen at Sumire

Harajuku would be the last stop of the day.  Strolling down Takeshita dori, we were easily sidetracked by crepes, cream puffs, cotton candy, etc
