The name of the station comes from the nearby temple. I walked back and forth between the 2 temples during the time neither celebration were completelyt set up yet. Like in Asakusa, there is a Nakamise that leads into the temple
Some shops were selling daruma of types, shapes, and sizes.
They too were setting up yatais probably expecting the overflow. Again they were not set up for my arrival so I was not able to partake
As you get close to the gate, there is a rhythmic clattering echoing between establishments. One of the popular items are the candy being sold. They are pulled and cut when they are hard. Its like dueling banjoes
