Work brings me to the Financial District once again and specifically, 101 California St. Several years ago a horrific and unimaginable things happened. Gian Luigi Ferry went to one of the larger businesses in the highrise and started shooting people. There were many deaths and alot of anguish and shock that day. The building stands as a quiet remembrance to anyone who recalls the events of a day many would much rather forget

Looking west down California St, one of the three cable car lines begins a short distance from here. Imagine what this area must have looked like during the deays of the Barbary Coast

Another major throughfare that intersects with California is Market St. From here, it is only one block away. The edifice on Market is being reflected upon by the sun bounding off the shimmering glass of 101 California

Oblivious to human transgressions and going ons, a seagull takes a leisurely bath in the fountain
