Thats right, I went back to Pier 21 again for dinner. For those keeping count, thats 1 lunch and 2 dinners. I had to choose between the fried chicken or roast duck over sesame noodles. Wasnt bad and portion was just right. The size is big enough if you arent hungry but small enough so you could sample many dishes if you were very hungry. The additional sauce they poured over everything was a bit much. A sugar free est(cola) for the pairing
At the same stall they were selling fish maw soup in the big pot over there. Mainly chinese food like roast pork and a bit of dim sum.
As mentioned, this place is very affordable. They lack the seafood I was looking for but they still offer fried fish if you so wish. There was a few japanese items and 1 or 2 items listed as being Korean. Finding a seat can be difficult but persistence will reward you
For 7 baht, I thought I would try the pork and crab dim sum. Not a good choice even for 7 baht. The dumplings were so gummy and the flavor was bland. Should have picked up some sauce to go along with it.
I had to end with something a little sweet and this little young coconut with ice cream was it. The coconut flavored ice cream went well with the pieces of young flesh. Hmm, seems like its starting to sound wierd
All totaled, the 4 items came out to 125 baht
