Happy Thanksgiving Eve

There's Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. The days before a major holiday. How come we dont call all of these days Eves? Memorial Day Eve, Labor Day Eve, or Thanksgiving Eve? 4th of July Eve would just be 3rd of July.
